Witch of Pendle Collectable Doll - Alizon Device - Blue
Product Description
Alizon Device was Elizabeth Device's daughter and granddaughter of Demdike, the head of one of the two unfortunate families accused of Witchcraft in England 1600'. She confessed to witchcraft and was hanged in Lancaster in 1612.
Still – despite her unfortunate experience, Alizon Device Witch of Pendle Doll in blue has a sweet demeanor and homey outfit with plenty of detail… lots of bright blue caribou, a patchwork apron and unusual double skirt with layers of fabric.
Of course the hat matches the rest of the outfit in sparkly black velvet decorated with feathers. Apparently there must have been a shortage of shoes, so her sweet little porcelain toes are in full view!
She wears a beautiful smile on her face – all highly detailed in porcelain.
Alizon Device, the witch doll, measures 14 inches long and can hang from transparent thread which is attached to the hat. Like all of our Pendle Witches, she comes with a complimentary copy of the Trial and History of the Witches of Pendle.
