Althea Witch of Pendle - Large Black

Althea Pendle Witch Doll is a flying witch doll. She's the one sent to fetch supplies (that’s her speciality – shopping!). She brings three pouches of a mysterious nature! Pouches are made of see through fabric and decorated with black feathers… can we safely assume that they contain herbs with a hint of potpourri?

As with all her sisters, her classic black dress detail is fantastic - the top skirt is made of black hemp, the middle skirt is made in black satin with a border trimmed in black eyelet lace border. To keep warm, she is wearing a granny type shawl also in black.

Even her face is impeccable in detail - pointy nose, purple lips, bicycle glasses and even a beaded earring. And let’s not forget the “real” broomstick!

All in all, a beautiful porcelain creation, from our Witches of Pendle collection, of high detail recommended for the collector and enthusiast alike. Collectables are not just for Halloween, but for every season in between!

Althea, the flying witch doll, measures 20 inches long and can hang from transparent thread which is attached to the hat. Like all of our Pendle Witches, she comes with a complimentary copy of the Trial and History of the Witches of Pendle.
